For today’s blog post I thought I’ll share some behind the scenes info of how pictures on Instagram are portrayed to others. I know that sharing your life on social media makes the impact of everyone knowing everything about you. Actually it’s not like that. I obviously enjoy being on these platforms and I love sharing my pictures and videos with all of you. But at the end of the day those pictures don’t show the entire story of that day or situation. It’s also important to understand that most of the people including me will share the nicest pictures on Instagram. One picture is probably just a 1/100 part of my day. If I post a picture, no one will know if I was sick at that time unless I write it in the description below (duh!). Or you might not even know if I tripped off the stairs and bruised my ankle (okay, that actually never happened but I’m just saying!) What I’m trying to say is that most of the influencers and bloggers will show the nice and pretty part of their life on Instagram.
So let me tell you the story behind this shoot and this day. It was a snowy day and probably one of the coldest days this year. You won’t see the snow here because I was standing next to the stairs and handrails. But let me show you the entire location:
Yep. That’s what it actually looked like. That’s what I was trying to say. We just show you the situations that we want to show. If you’ll have a closer look, my hands are actually freezing. Another fun fact: We shot three different outfit pictures on that day. One of them I already shared. It was this one:
